Hello I was wondering if anyone is interested in sharing ideas with me about scrapbooking I am new to it and joined groups but some are just too big and too many messages to sort though so if anyone is serious and would like to share ideas and make a new friend let me know …thx…
I just love scrapbooking! It’s such a great gift for your kids. I have one for each of them. Each page has a theme. It starts with our wedding day…and then my pregnancy. You can find a lot of great stickers, borders, and other useful stuff to use at Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby. It’s easy to make your page look too crowded. So just remember that a scrapbook is mostly a well-decorated picture book. You can put explanations for your pictures, but if it’s anything lengthy, go to another page. A page should be mostly writing or mostly pictures, but not both. And the decorations should be to accent your page theme, not just fill in. It’s usually easy for me to find a theme b/c it’s a special occasion. Use stencils and colorful markers to make some really cute headings on your pages.
